About

This website is an effort to ensure the online presence of the Akorkhel Khattak (آکوڑ خیل خٹک) tribe. The objective is to let the young generation know about the glorious past and illustrious figures of the tribe. It aims to bring together descendants of Malik Akorr (ملک آکوڑ) from diverse backgrounds and schools of thought to develop and encourage their interests in Khattak history, heritage, Pashto language Pros and Poetry, Fine Arts and literature, and contemporary issues of Pashtuns in general and Akorkhel Khattaks in particular. It also aims to re-establish and strengthen bonds between the extended Akorkhel Khattak family.

Initially, the following contents are proposed to be available here on this website:

• History (Pre-Khushal Era, Post-Khushal Era, Historical accounts)
• Genealogy (Various sub-branches of Akorkhel Khattak)
• Heritage (Prominent figures, People and Places, Maps and imagery)
• Academia (An online collection of books about the Pashto language, people and cultural heritage, etc.)
• Community (Members directory, announcements and local community NEWS, etc.)
• Videos (Events organized by Da Khushal Kor Tolana and other relevant videos)
• Albums (Events organized by Da Khushal Kor Tolana and other relevant pictures.

We are open to suggestions for the improvement of the website. We request you to contribute by submitting relevant content, like; pictures, articles, historical accounts, cultural heritage, maps and places, and prominent figures of the Akorkhel Khattak tribe.
